The first Windows Phone 7 theme arrives

02/28/2010  By Ken J Shuttleworth

                                                                           windows phone 7 theme

Not even a week after the unveiling of the Windows Phone 7 series the folks over at Point UI bring you a custom interface for your current windows phone that emulates the newly released OS. If your not familiar with Point UI then it’s going to take some reading to install the UI and applets properly or you could just wait for the developer to release a cab file. I must say it does nice on my Touch Pro 2 but of course once you navigate out of the UI shell, its back to 6.5. You can find the UI and Windows Phone 7 theme

here.

HTC Diamond 3 is rumored to be the Obsession

01/21/2009 By: KJ Shuttleworth

                                                                                                           Windows Mobile7

Touch screen slab phones are becoming more and more popular among manufacturers. They are evolving into some very powerful devices. Take the upcoming Obsession for example, with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, HD video output, and AMOLED screen. Here's the kicker, this is all speculation from some reliable sources but Windows Mobile7 is likely to be shipped on the Obsession. The privileged few who have seen 7 have called it "revolutionary". Unfortunately they also report that it is unlikely that CDMA carriers (Sprint, Verizon) will have it due to poor sales of the original diamonds. Hopefully it's a little more inexpensive than the HD2 but with HTC we're not holding our breath.
